Contributor Agreement

1. Eligibility and Conduct

• You must be at least 18 years old and not a resident of the European Union.
• Only submit data you are authorized to provide and that complies with applicable laws.

2. What You Submit

You may provide first-person video, image data, and related metadata. Content may incidentally capture people, environments, or items. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, invasive of privacy, or that infringes third-party rights.

3. Rights You Grant

You grant Embodiment AI a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit submitted data for research, development, commercial use, and model training. You waive any moral rights to the extent permitted by law.

4. Your Representations

• You have all rights and permissions needed to grant the license in Section 3.
• Your submissions do not infringe or violate the rights of others.
• You have obtained any required notices or consents from individuals who may appear in the data.

5. Data Handling

Submitted data may be combined with other datasets and irreversibly incorporated into trained models and derivative outputs. Deleting your account or requesting deletion may not remove data already used for research, training, or derived artifacts. Additional information is available in our Privacy Policy.

6. Safety and Restrictions

• Do not endanger yourself or others to create recordings.
• Do not record in locations where you lack permission or where recording is prohibited.
• Do not submit sensitive personal data unless necessary and lawful to do so.

7. Compensation

If compensation is offered, payment will be handled through the channels we specify. You are responsible for any taxes or fees associated with payments you receive.

8. Confidentiality

Data you submit should not include information you are obligated to keep confidential. We are not agreeing to treat submissions as confidential, and you should not expect confidentiality for submitted content.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your contributor access for any breach of this agreement or applicable law. Sections intended to survive termination (including licensing, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
